A new physical setback

Lamine Yamal, who had already gone through a similar problem during the last international break, returns to the infirmary. The controversy with the Spanish national team

The debate erupted when Luis De la Fuente, the national coach, decided to include the winger in the call-up list for the matches against Georgia and Bulgaria. This situation was not well received at the Catalan club, as the player was still not in peak physical condition. Ultimately, Yamal will not be able to join the Roja´s training camp, as Barça confirmed he is injured again. According to the club´s statement, Lamine Yamal will be absent for two to three weeks. He is ruled out for the match against Sevilla, and his recovery will determine if he can return after the international break. The return of the domestic league is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, when Barça will host Girona, presumably in Montjuïc, although Spotify Camp Nou is not ruled out as a venue.

Barça has no intention of risking the winger´s recovery.
