Lamine, on Madrid and Ibai´s Porcinos: "They steal, they complain..."

In the middle of classic week, Lamine Yamal is once again the protagonist both on and off the field.

The young player from FC Barcelona showed his fun and spontaneous side during his participation in the Chup Chup of the Kings League, where he had a very relaxed chat with Ibai Llanos, president of the Porcinos FC team. True to his direct style, Lamine did not hesitate to throw out a phrase that has already sparked conversation: "They steal, they complain...", referring to Real Madrid. During the conversation, Gerard Piqué was also present. At one point in the program, Lamine was asked: "For you, Porcinos is Madrid, right?". The player´s response left no room for doubt: "Yes, they steal, they complain...". Ibai, surprised, interrupted him asking: "Does Madrid steal?", to which Lamine naturally replied: "Let´s see", accompanied by a gesture that made his point of view clear. To add more spice to the moment, Piqué intervened saying: "This is not debatable". Given the tone of the conversation, Gerard Romero tried to calm the situation, although Lamine insisted humorously: "Damn, let´s see...".

Lamine and Ibai throw down a challenge

In jest, Lamine Yamal and Ibai Llanos agreed on a challenge: if La Capital —the player´s team in the Kings League— loses to Porcinos, Lamine will celebrate a goal in the classic with a crown, winking at Ibai and forming an "I" with his hands. Ibai responded ironically: "First, you have to score it", to which Lamine replied: "Don´t you remember last season?". Additionally, the Barça youth player revealed that in the Kings Cup Spain match, which will pit both teams against each other this Friday at 9:00 PM, he will take the president´s penalty in the style of Panenka. At another moment in the meeting, Lamine left another memorable phrase, full of humor and confidence: "I get more excited about scoring against you than against Real Madrid... because I´ve already scored against Madrid". The young Barça player arrives at the classic with a great dose of confidence, although he is still in the process of regaining his best form after overcoming discomfort in his pubis.

His first training session with Barça: "I took it and smoked them all"

During the chat, Gerard Piqué recalled the first time Lamine Yamal trained with the first team of FC Barcelona. "I have a bad memory but I remember a match where Jordi Alba took it, he was fired up... Do you remember that match?", the former center-back asked. Lamine, laughing, responded naturally: "It was my first training, I think. And I took it and smoked them all. I didn´t lose the ball and since I was fired up... In the second half, I scored two goals and that was it", explained the player, maintaining his characteristic relaxed and friendly tone. With just a few years in the elite, Lamine Yamal shows that he not only has talent on the field but also a strong and charismatic personality off it, capable of generating headlines and connecting with fans.
