The call-up of Barça to face Olympiacos

FC Barcelona will face Olympiacos this afternoon (6:45 PM) at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, in the match corresponding to the third round of the group stage of the Champions League.

The team managed by Hansi Flick will seek to reconnect with European victory after the last-minute defeat against Paris Saint-Germain. Additionally, this match will serve as a prelude to the Clásico next Sunday (4:45 PM) against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, closing a crucial week for the culés.

Ferran Torres, back

The German coach recovers Ferran Torres, who has overcome the muscle overload that kept him out against Girona and has received medical clearance. However, Barça still cannot count on several important players: Ter Stegen, Joan Garcia, Gavi, Dani Olmo, Lewandowski, and Raphinha remain on the injury list.

Christensen, last-minute absence

In addition to these absences, Andreas Christensen will not participate, as he did not take part in the last training session held at the Camp Tito Vilanova of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper due to gastrointestinal discomfort, which is why he has not been included in the call-up. As is customary, Flick has completed the list with several players from La Masia, including goalkeepers Diego Kochen and Eder Aller, defenders Jofre Torrents and Xavi Espart, midfielder Dro, and forwards Toni Fernández and Juan Hernández.
