For Lewandowski, however, the main idea remains the same: to extend his stay at Barça. Despite muscle injuries affecting him at the start of the season, the forward continues to show flashes of his goal-scoring instinct, such as the hat trick achieved against Celta. He has already accumulated seven goals in the nine times he has participated this season. The squad also includes Ferran Torres, who last season demonstrated his ability to take over from the Polish player as an offensive reference. However, if Lewandowski ends up closing his chapter in Barcelona, the blaugrana entity will have to go to the market to incorporate a new striker.
